Bharat Petroleum rolls out lightweight 10‑kg LPG cylinder and HelloBPCL digital platform in India

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has introduced a 10‑kilogram fiber‑composite LPG cylinder called Bharatgas Lite ZIP. The cylinder is lighter than traditional iron models, rust‑resistant, transparent for easy level checking and priced at Rs 4,812, which includes the gas, cylinder and connection fees. BPCL says delivery can be made within about four hours after booking. The service debuted in Mangaluru, Karnataka, with plans to reach over 70 cities across the country by mid‑August.

In parallel, BPCL launched the HelloBPCL app, a digital platform that consolidates LPG booking, fuel payments, fleet management and other business solutions. The app offers features such as online LPG refill orders, eKYC for new connections, delivery tracking and reward points, aiming to simplify everyday energy services for households and commercial users alike.
