Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders demand water‑sharing meeting details and warn police against false cases

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLA and former Telangana minister T. Harish Rao called for a full disclosure of the hour‑long meeting held during the inauguration of the Tungabhadra Dam gates in Hospet, where Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar, Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu discussed river‑water issues. Rao claimed Telangana irrigation officials were excluded, questioned any benefits for the state and alleged that Andhra Pradesh’s influence over central irrigation appointments was being used to favour Naidu.

Separately, BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao addressed party cadres, urging police not to register false cases against BRS leaders and warning that over‑action would have consequences once the party returns to power. He reaffirmed confidence that K. Chandrasekhar Rao will become chief minister again and criticised opposition and certain state officials.
