Bhutan unveils five entries for inaugural Eurovision Asia selection
The Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS) has released the five songs competing in the Rhythm of Bhutan national final, which will choose the country's representative for the first Eurovision Song Contest Asia. The entries are: - Sangay Lhaden Band – “Pemi Tshewang Tashi (The Legend)” - Baeyul 301 – “Drenpa (The Memories)” - Karma Drupchu – “Pha Yuel (The Homeland)” - Thukten Nyendra – “Lhayi Semo (The Angel)” - Pelden Wangchuk – “Jo’druel (The Journey)”. All tracks are available on YouTube and Spotify, and BBS also issued the official theme song “Drukdra, Rhythm of Bhutan”.
The Rhythm of Bhutan final will take place on 11 August. The winning act will represent Bhutan at the inaugural Eurovision Song Contest Asia, scheduled for 14 November 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. The contest will follow the same format as the European Eurovision, with each participating broadcaster selecting its entry through a national final.
