Bibliotheca Alexandrina to host National Identity conference

The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has announced details for the upcoming conference titled ‘National Identity: Deep Roots and a Renewed Vision.’ Held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the three-day event is scheduled to take place from September 21 to 23.

During a press conference, Bibliotheca Alexandrina Director Ahmed Zayed noted that the conference aims to support national progress by strengthening cohesive national identity. The event will address modern challenges to cultural identity, such as the influence of social media and the rapid growth of artificial intelligence.

The conference expects to host approximately 450 young people from various sectors of Egyptian society. The program will include scientific sessions, discussions with various officials, cultural performances, a handicrafts exhibition, and an art exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture. Alexandria Governor Ayman Attia confirmed that the governorate is mobilizing all necessary resources to ensure the success of the event.
