Biedronka slashes coffee price as Polish coffee machines see steep discounts
Polish discount retailer Biedronka is offering a half‑kilogram pack of Parana Café d’Or ground coffee for 17.99 zł, a reduction from 26.99 zł that makes the coffee cheaper than two city‑café lattes. The promotion runs until 4 July and is part of a broader flyer that also includes discounts on cheeses, sugars, dairy and other groceries.
At the same time, automatic coffee‑machine manufacturers such as Philips, De'Longhi and Krups are promoting reduced‑price models. The advertised machines feature easy‑clean, tube‑free milk frothers and programs for cold‑brew extraction, catering to a summer trend toward iced and personalized coffee drinks. The offers are highlighted by retailer Media Expert.
Both stories reflect a seasonal push in Poland’s consumer market to make home‑brewed coffee more affordable and technologically appealing.
