BIG Poland adds 11,000 sqm shopping park in Grodzisk Mazowiecki
BIG Poland has acquired the Grodzisk Sfera Park, an 11,000 sqm GLA shopping centre in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, western Warsaw agglomeration. The purchase makes it the company's 13th Polish park and brings its total portfolio to nearly 258,000 sqm. Rebranding to the BIG brand is planned for the end of summer. The fully‑leased centre hosts 19 retailers including Biedronka, New Yorker and Rossmann, and offers 350 parking spaces serving over 100,000 local residents.
Leroy Merlin announced the construction of its first store in Bolesławiec, a 6,500 sqm building‑materials and décor market slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2026. The outlet will be the largest of its kind in the town, featuring around 18,000 products, 700 parking spaces and a staff of about 70 employees. Until then, local shoppers have travelled to Legnica or Zgorzelec for Leroy Merlin services.
