Bigg Boss Kannada host Kiccha Sudeep warns contestants over community slur

During the eighth week of Bigg Boss Kannada 13, host Kiccha Sudeep issued a stern warning to contestants Yashas and Gagan following a heated argument. The controversy arose when Yashas used the term '9' during a dispute with Gagan, a term reportedly used to mock the LGBTQ+ community.

Sudeep addressed the incident during the weekly Panchayat segment, showing video footage of the altercation to the contestants. He emphasized that while personal arguments are permitted, using language that disparages any community is unacceptable and can lead to serious consequences. He warned that while the production team and television channel may attempt to protect contestants to a certain extent, the situation could escalate beyond their control if such behavior continues.

Yashas defended his actions, stating that his intention was not to hurt any specific community or society, but was aimed solely at causing personal offense to Gagan. He requested that viewers do not misinterpret his words.
