Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announces major education and infrastructure initiatives

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has launched several state-wide initiatives and responded to regional emergencies. To enhance education, he introduced the ‘Bihar Vidya Saathi’ app, a 24/7 interactive platform designed to provide personalized academic support to approximately 3 lakh students in 700 model schools. The program includes access to 75,000 teachers and digital study materials for various competitive exams.

In infrastructure development, the Chief Minister announced a Rs 70,000 crore plan to construct a 126-km Marine Drive along the Ganga River, starting from Koilwar. The project aims to expand existing infrastructure and generate employment, with Rs 20,000 crore coming from the state and Rs 50,000 crore from private entities.

Addressing student welfare, Choudhary inaugurated ‘Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivir’, monthly camps intended to resolve academic and facility-related grievances within 30 days. Additionally, the Chief Minister conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected districts, including Patna and Bhagalpur, following rising water levels in the Ganga, directing officials to prioritize immediate relief and rescue operations.
