Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has expanded his administrative agenda to include significant education and infrastructure projects. To support academic development, he introduced the ‘Bihar Vidya Saathi’ app, a 24/7 interactive platform providing personalized support to approximately 3 lakh students across 700 model schools, utilizing 75,000 teachers and digital materials for competitive exams. He also inaugurated ‘Vidyarthi Sahyog Shivir’, monthly camps designed to resolve student grievances regarding academic and facility issues within 30 days.

In terms of infrastructure, the Chief Minister announced a Rs 70,000 crore plan to construct a 126-km Marine Drive along the Ganga River, beginning at Koilwar. This project is expected to be funded by Rs 20,000 crore from the state and Rs 50,000 crore from private entities, with the goal of expanding infrastructure and generating employment.

Addressing environmental and emergency management, Choudhary conducted an aerial survey of flood-affected districts, including Patna and Bhagalpur, following rising water levels in the Ganga. He has directed officials to prioritize immediate relief and rescue operations in these areas.

Recent developments include the launch of 145 schemes worth Rs 285 crore in East Champaran, featuring a medical college in Bariyarpur, a planetarium in Motihari, and a fisheries prosperity cluster. Choudhary also announced plans to restart the closed sugar mill in Motihari and aims to provide employment to one crore people by 2030. To coordinate these efforts, he met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Jal Shakti Minister C. R. Patil in Delhi to discuss law and order, infrastructure, and water management issues such as flood control.
