Bihar Minister inaugurates Patna elevated path and issues disaster alert
Bihar Minister Kumar Shailendra addressed several key developments in Patna, including the inauguration of the 2.10 km Meethapur-Sipara elevated path. Built at a cost of 231 crore rupees, the new route is designed to alleviate traffic congestion in Patna. The project features high-quality noise barriers to protect residents living near the road and includes provisions for smooth nighttime traffic flow.
Regarding the recent disaster in Nepal, Minister Shailendra expressed condolences to the victims and their families. Following communication between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, the Bihar administration has been placed on high alert. Districts including East Champaran, West Champaran, Saran, Hajipur, and Muzaffarpur are on standby, with SDRF, NDRF, and helicopter resources prepared to respond to potential emergencies in border areas.
