Bihar Police Service Commission opens applications for 65 Company Commander posts

The Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) announced direct recruitment for 65 Company Commander positions under the Bihar Home Defence Unit. Applications opened on 30 June and must be submitted online by 30 July. Candidates must have graduated from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification by 1 August 2025. Minimum age is 20 years; the maximum is 37 for men and 40 for women, with age relaxations for reserved categories. Selection will be based on a written exam, physical fitness test, medical examination, character and background verification, and a final merit list. Successful candidates will receive a salary at Pay Level‑6 under the 7th CPC.

The application fee is ₹100, payable online, and forms are accepted only after fee payment.
