Bihar Public Service Commission announces exam results and recruitment updates
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced significant updates regarding its upcoming examinations and recruitment processes. The results for the 71st Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Prelims are expected to be released in the second half of September. To ensure accuracy, the commission has implemented a dual-checking system for OMR sheets. Candidates appearing for the Mains examination will be able to download their unvalued answer sheets between August 24 and August 29 to file any objections.
Additionally, the BPSC will reopen the application portal for the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) position. This decision follows requests from candidates regarding technical issues and document verification. While new applicants can register, those who have already applied do not need to resubmit their forms. The AEDO recruitment process will now involve a two-stage examination, with preliminary exams potentially scheduled for December 2026 or January 2027.
In a separate administrative development, Controller of Examinations Rajesh Kumar Singh has been suspended following orders from Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary regarding controversial statements.
