Bike crashes in Jharkhand and Rajasthan kill three youths
In Fatehpur, Rajasthan, a young motorcyclist was killed on Tuesday when an unidentified vehicle struck his bike at high speed and fled the scene. Police have opened an investigation, collecting CCTV footage and other evidence to locate the driver.
In Gumla district, Jharkhand, two brothers, 25‑year‑old Mangra Uraw and 24‑year‑old Charku Uraw, died after their bike lost control, went off the Kharka bridge and fell. A third rider, Sunil Uraw, escaped serious injury by jumping off the bike. Initial inquiries point to excessive speed and the riders not wearing helmets as causes of the fatal crashes.
