Bilbao Announces 2026 Corridas Generales Bullfighting Schedule

The BMF management company for Bilbao’s Plaza de Toros de Vista Alegre has released the official programme for the 2026 Corridas Generales, part of the city’s Aste Nagusia festival. The series runs from 23 to 29 August and includes five bullfights, one rejón, and the fifth edition of the V Memorial Iván Fandiño – with a semifinal on 24 August and a final on 28 August.

Featured toreros span the sport’s top tier, such as Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey, Alejandro Talavante, Daniel Luque, Emilio de Justo, Sebastián Castella, Diego Urdiales, Tomás Rufo, Borja Jiménez, David de Miranda, Marco Pérez, Antonio Ferrera and Damián Castaño. Notably, Ferrera will face Castaño in a mano‑a‑mano duel on 25 August. The programme also lists the participating ganaderías, including Romao Tenorio, Dolores Aguirre, La Quinta, Victoriano del Río, Domingo Hernández and Garcigrande.

Ticket sales start 13 July, with both online and physical box‑office options. The daily line‑up details the specific bull breeds and dates for each showdown, providing a complete preview of the summer bullfighting calendar in Bilbao.
