Bill Gates testifies on alleged Epstein extortion, reveals affairs
Bill Gates appeared before the U.S. House Oversight Committee and confirmed that he had multiple extramarital relationships during his marriage to Melinda French Gates. He named three women – medical‑entrepreneur Alice Jecombe, Russian nuclear scientist Karima Nigmatulina and bridge player Mila Antonova – and said he had informed his wife about the affairs before their 2021 divorce.
Gates also said Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex‑offender who died in prison, tried to leverage that personal information to pressure him. He described a draft email dated July 2013 that Epstein allegedly prepared, which mixed factual details with false claims. Gates called the friendship with Epstein “a huge mistake” and maintained that no extortion took place and that he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal activities. “I wish I had never met Epstein,” he told lawmakers.
