Billy Joel Band announces tribute concert in Atlantic City

The Billy Joel Band has announced a special concert titled “The Music of Billy Joel featuring The Billy Joel Band,” scheduled for December 5 at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City.

Due to Billy Joel’s absence, band member Michael DelGuidice, who has performed with Joel since 2013, will handle both piano and vocal duties. The performance will feature hits from Joel’s catalog, including “Piano Man,” “Uptown Girl,” and “We Didn't Start the Fire.”

Joel, 77, has canceled all concert dates since May 2025 while recovering from brain surgery following a diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus. Tickets for the Atlantic City event are available through Ticketmaster.
