Bimbo Global Race 5K attracts over 4,600 runners in Uruguay

The 11th edition of the Enfoque Bimbo Global Race 5K RUN took place in Uruguay, bringing together more than 4,600 runners and nearly 200 children. Co-organized with Centro Deportivo Enfoque, the event featured various competitive categories, including male and female divisions, wheelchair users, and visually impaired athletes.

As part of the 'Compartimos lo bueno' initiative, Grupo Bimbo Uruguay donated 92,000 slices of bread to the Banco de Alimentos del Uruguay, based on a commitment of 20 slices for every adult participant. Additionally, the Centro Deportivo Enfoque allocated a portion of the funds raised to the Centro de Atención Integral a la Infancia y a la Familia (CAIF) Juan XXIII.

Uruguay joins 23 other countries participating in this annual Grupo Bimbo initiative, which aims to promote sports values and solidarity.
