Bimbo Global Race events held in Barcelona and Venezuela

The Bimbo Global Race is taking place in different regions, combining athletic competition with social impact.

In Barcelona, the 48th edition of the Cursa de la Mercè Bimbo Global Race saw a record 17,200 runners, an 18.6% increase from the previous year. This participation level will result in the donation of 344,000 slices of bread to the Barcelona Food Bank. Additionally, registration proceeds will support Pallassos Sense Fronteres, an organization dedicated to the emotional well-being of vulnerable children.

In Venezuela, the Bimbo Global Race 2026 is scheduled for September 27 in the Baruta municipality. The event, which includes a 5K walk and a 10K run, will begin at 6:00 a.m. on the Las Mercedes main avenue. Local authorities have announced several road closures in the area to ensure participant safety, including sections of Avenida La Guairita, Avenida Araure, and Avenida Río de Janeiro, while providing alternative routes through Colinas de Bello Monte and Chuao.
