Bimota KB399 and Kove 450RR debut new 400‑cc four‑cylinder sportbikes

Italian brand Bimota introduced the KB399, a mid‑displacement sportbike built on a Kawasaki Ninja ZX‑4RR four‑cylinder engine. The bike is handcrafted in Italy, priced at €11,149, and offered in a configuration that complies with the European A2 licence, expanding its potential user base.

Spanish‑market newcomer Kove released the 450RR, powered by a 443 cc inline‑four that delivers 67 hp and 38 Nm. It features launch control, a quickshifter, selectable sport and eco traction‑control modes, and a lightweight multitubular chassis. The model joins a growing segment of low‑displacement super‑sport motorcycles competing with Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX‑4RR and other Asian offerings.

Both launches illustrate a broader trend toward compact, high‑performance sportbikes that bring superbike‑style engineering to the 400‑cc class.
