2025‑26 European sportbike launches

During the 2025‑2026 cycle of European motorcycle shows, several manufacturers introduced new mid‑displacement sportbikes aimed at expanding the high‑performance, low‑capacity segment.

At EICMA 2025, Benelli unveiled the TRK 902 Stradale, a maxi‑crossover powered by a 904 cc parallel‑twin engine with 93 hp, electronic suspension, multiple riding modes and a suite of rider‑assist features. In the same event KTM announced two supersport models – the 790 RC, based on its 799 cc parallel‑twin Duke platform, and the entry‑level 490 RC, targeting newer riders.

Later in 2026, Italian brand Bimota presented the KB399, a sportbike built around a Kawasaki Ninja ZX‑4RR four‑cylinder engine, priced for the European A2 licence market. Spanish newcomer Kove released the 450RR, a 443 cc inline‑four machine with launch control, quick‑shifter and selectable traction‑control modes. Both models underscore a broader industry shift toward compact, high‑performance sportbikes that bring superbike‑level technology to the 400‑cc class.

Together, these launches illustrate a growing focus among European manufacturers on delivering advanced, lightweight sportbikes that balance power, handling and regulatory accessibility.
