Binance and eToro Drive New Perpetual Futures Products
Binance announced the addition of perpetual futures contracts linked to Strategy’s STRC perpetual preferred stock and Take‑Two Interactive (TTWO) on July 2. The contracts are settled in USDT, offer up to 25× leverage and are meant to give crypto traders exposure to listed equities such as the upcoming GTA 6 developer.
eToro led a $12.5 million funding round for Extended, an on‑chain perpetual futures exchange built on StarkWare’s StarkEx roll‑up technology. The investment will integrate Extended’s derivatives engine into the Zengo self‑custody wallet, highlighting a trend of traditional brokerages partnering with DeFi platforms to offer leveraged crypto‑based products.
Both moves illustrate a broader push by major trading platforms to blend cryptocurrency trading with traditional and decentralized finance markets.
