Binance has applied its Monitoring Tag to four cryptocurrencies: AVA, Gains Network (GNS), Scroll (SCR), and Towns Protocol (TOWNS). This designation indicates that the assets are under closer review due to higher volatility and risk compared to other listings.

While the tag does not result in immediate removal from trading, it signals a potential risk of delisting. Binance evaluates several factors during these reviews, including trading volume, liquidity, development activity, network stability, and project team commitment. Recent history shows a pattern where several previously tagged tokens were eventually delisted from the platform.

Following the announcement, market reactions were immediate, with TOWNS and SCR experiencing notable price drops. In a separate action, Binance Alpha removed 14 tokens from its recommendation list, though these assets remain available for trading and withdrawal on the main exchange.
