Binance expands services with US stock trading and new asset pairs
Binance is expanding its service offerings to transition toward a financial superapp model. Through a partnership with the US-regulated brokerage Alpaca and via its securities brokerage Simpaul, the platform now allows users to trade over 7,000 US stocks and ETFs. This expansion enables investors, including those in Brazil, to access US markets with a minimum investment of $5, allowing for fractional share ownership. These trades are available 24/7 from Monday to Friday, and users can utilize stablecoins for transactions.
Additionally, Binance has introduced three new spot trading pairs: USDC/ARS, ACE/USDC, and PUMP/U. The USDC/ARS pair provides a direct trading route between the US dollar-pegged stablecoin and the Argentine peso, catering to demand in Argentina amidst local currency volatility. The other pairs include the ACE token from the Fusionist blockchain gaming ecosystem and the PUMP meme coin, aimed at increasing liquidity and reducing conversion steps for traders.
