Binance expands tokenized stock offerings as Coinbase adds new perpetual futures
Binance announced that on 15 July 2026 it will add ten new tokenized‑stock assets (bStocks) to its platform, covering companies such as Applied Optoelectronics, Arm, Broadcom, Alibaba, Robinhood, IBM, Marvell Technology, Nokia, Rocket Lab and TSMC. The tokens will be listed as USDT trading pairs, can be used as collateral for margin trading, and will benefit from a zero‑maker‑fee campaign until 31 August 2026. Binance also plans to launch Spot Algo Trading Bots for these pairs.
Coinbase said it will open continuous‑perpetual futures contracts linked to SK Hynix and Lumentum shares, with trading to begin at 12:00 UTC on the same date. The new markets allow investors to profit from price movements of the underlying equities without owning the stocks directly. Both exchanges frame the moves as steps toward deeper integration of traditional equity markets with digital‑asset trading.
