Binance introduces bStocks tokenized US equities on BNB Chain

Binance announced the launch of bStocks, tokenized securities that represent selected U.S. stocks and ETFs. Each bStock is a BEP‑20 certificate backed 1:1 by an underlying share held with a regulated custodian, allowing 24/7 on‑chain trading, fractional ownership from $5 and zero‑fee maker pricing for an initial period. The offering, approved by the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority, is limited to eligible users in permitted jurisdictions and is not available to U.S. persons.

Aster, a decentralized derivatives platform on BNB Chain, has added bStocks as collateral for perpetual‑contract trading. The integration initially supports four bStock assets, letting traders post tokenized equities as margin rather than converting them to stablecoins or native tokens. This expands capital efficiency and bridges traditional equity exposure with crypto‑native leveraged trading, reflecting a broader trend of incorporating real‑world asset tokens into DeFi protocols.
