Binance launches options trading for 1,000+ U.S. stocks and ETFs

Binance has expanded its traditional finance offerings by launching options trading for over 1,000 selected U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The service is available to eligible non-U.S. users and is not offered to customers within the United States.

The product is facilitated through Nest Trading Limited, a broker-dealer regulated by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), which acts as the introducing broker. Orders are routed to Alpaca Securities LLC, a U.S.-registered self-clearing broker-dealer, which handles execution, clearing, settlement, and custody. Unlike cash-settled derivatives, these options are physically settled, meaning users who exercise their contracts receive or deliver the underlying shares.

This move follows a significant increase in traditional finance (TradFi) activity on the platform. Binance reported that TradFi perpetual futures trading volume reached approximately $433.4 billion in August, a substantial increase from $29.5 billion in January. The new options service complements Binance’s existing suite of products, which includes crypto assets, tokenized securities, and direct access to more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs.
