Bioceanic Bridge undergoes aerodynamic testing and receives official name

The Bioceanic Bridge, a strategic infrastructure project connecting Carmelo Peralta in Paraguay with Porto Murtinho in Brazil, is entering its final construction stages. As part of technical verification, scale models of the bridge underwent rigorous aerodynamic testing in a wind tunnel at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. These tests, conducted by the JYI Consortium, simulated high-intensity wind scenarios to ensure structural stability and calibrate engineering models before the project's completion.

In a parallel development, Brazilian federal legislation has officially named the bridge in honor of Heitor Miranda dos Santos, the former mayor of Porto Murtinho who passed away in 2022. The bridge serves as a critical pillar of the Bioceanic Route, an ambitious road corridor designed to integrate Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, and Chile by facilitating the movement of goods and people across South America.
