Bioceanic Bridge undergoes aerodynamic testing in Italy

The Bioceanic Bridge, a major infrastructure project intended to connect Paraguay and Brazil, has undergone specialized aerodynamic testing at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. Conducted by the JYI Consortium—comprising PROSUL, INTEC S.A., and INEXA—the tests involved exposing a scale model of the mega-structure to high-intensity wind currents in a controlled wind tunnel environment.

These studies were performed before the finalization of the executive project, allowing engineers to incorporate findings into the structural design and calibrate engineering parameters. The goal was to analyze the bridge's response to severe wind scenarios and ensure structural stability. To maintain safety during its operational life, the bridge will be equipped with a modern system of intelligent sensors to monitor real-time reactions to weather conditions and heavy vehicle loads.
