Aleksandar Vučić – United Serbia list declared for Serbian elections

The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) has officially declared the 'Aleksandar VučićUnited Serbia' electoral list for the extraordinary parliamentary elections scheduled for October 25. The list, which will appear first on the ballot, includes 250 candidates. Following a verification process of 224,557 submitted signatures, the RIK determined that 209,130 were legally valid.

Aleksandar Vučić is the candidate for the President of the Government on this list. He has announced plans to resign from the presidency on September 25 or 26 to run for Prime Minister as a regular citizen. The list features a diverse group of candidates, including prominent politicians like Miloš Vučević and Ana Brnabić, alongside professionals such as doctors, professors, lawyers, and artists.

Political observers and organizations have raised concerns regarding the campaign. BIRODI has called for investigations, alleging that Vučić's simultaneous pursuit of the premiership while holding the presidency is unconstitutional and constitutes corruption. Additionally, Transparentnost Srbija has urged municipal authorities and notaries to ensure equal treatment for all political subjects during signature collection. Other critics have pointed to the potential misuse of public resources and the announcement of salary increases as forms of institutionalized campaigning.
