On July 28, Bishop Cesare Di Pietro, the newly appointed bishop of the Diocese of Locri‑Gerace, visited the historic Casa di Riposo Sant'Antonio in Siderno, Italy. The nursing home, operating since 1945, welcomed the bishop along with the Sisters of the Holy Spirit, the superior general Suor Cheryl, chaplain Father Tiziano, and the facility’s staff. During the visit, the director explained the home’s mission to provide dignified, family‑like care for its 26 residents. Bishop Di Pietro spoke with the elderly, praised the work of the religious sisters, and celebrated Mass, urging the guests to keep hope and faith alive.
