Bitcoin ETFs see massive capital inflows in U.S

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have experienced a significant reversal in capital flows, attracting approximately $2.98 billion over seven consecutive sessions. This surge follows a period of heavy outflows in mid-September triggered by the Senate's failure to pass the Clarity Act.

During the trading week of September 21–25, inflows reached their highest level in nearly 50 weeks. While Bitcoin led the trend with roughly $2.18 billion in net inflows, capital also flowed into Ethereum, Solana, and XRP ETFs. BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) was the primary driver, attracting over $1.15 billion, accounting for about 53% of the total Bitcoin ETF inflows.

Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) followed with approximately $701.6 million. The influx has significantly improved the 2026 net flow outlook, which currently stands at a positive $886.8 million, a substantial recovery from the negative $5.69 billion recorded earlier in the year.
