Bitcoin ETFs see $463M outflow as Ether ETFs attract $197M

US spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a significant reversal, recording $462.7 million in net outflows during the week of September 8 to September 11, ending a three-week period of inflows. The largest single-day withdrawal occurred on Thursday, with $282.6 million leaving the funds. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF saw the most substantial weekly loss at $234.2 million.

In contrast, the Ethereum ETF market showed resilience, attracting approximately $197 million in net inflows over the same period. BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) led this trend, particularly on Friday with $148.8 million in inflows. BlackRock’s ETHB staking ETF also demonstrated steady growth, recording $307.72 million in inflows over a 20-day period ending September 11.

While Bitcoin flows faced pressure, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT fund bucked the trend with $19.7 million in inflows. The broader market is also closely watching the U.S. Senate, which is expected to consider a cloture motion on the CLARITY Act on September 15. This procedural step could advance the crypto market structure bill toward further debate.
