Bitcoin faces potential decline toward $71,000 amid technical patterns
Bitcoin is currently exhibiting technical patterns that suggest potential price volatility. On its four-hour chart, the cryptocurrency is forming a rounded-top pattern following a rally from $63,000 that reached levels between $80,000 and $81,500.
Key support levels are identified between $76,000 and $76,300. A decisive breakdown below this neckline could trigger a correction toward the $70,000 to $71,000 range. Conversely, a sustained recovery above the $79,500–$80,000 zone would weaken the bearish rounded-top scenario.
For a bullish breakout to be confirmed, analysts suggest the price must break above $82,300 and maintain a strong close above that level. Traders are also monitoring the $79,800 resistance level and watching for potential fake breakouts where the price wicks down toward support before being quickly bought back up.
