Bitcoin faces resistance between $81,000 and $86,000

Bitcoin is facing significant resistance between the $81,000 and $86,000 price levels. According to analysis from Glassnode, several supply structures are accumulating in this narrow range, which could complicate further upward momentum.

A major factor contributing to this resistance is the behavior of long-term holders (LTH), defined as those holding Bitcoin for at least six months. As prices approach the $83,000 to $86,000 zone, these investors may consider selling to realize profits or recoup their initial costs. This zone represents a critical test of whether long-term holders will continue to maintain their positions or begin offloading assets.

In addition to long-term holder supply, Glassnode has noted new selling liquidity appearing in exchange order books. While some orders may be placed as reserves for potential growth, the concentration of supply in this bracket serves as a primary obstacle for the cryptocurrency's continued ascent.
