Bitcoin poised for rally as analysts cite August market factors
Bitcoin traded around $63,500 in early August, marking a 2% monthly gain after recovering from a two‑week low. Analysts highlighted several factors that could shape the cryptocurrency’s trajectory this month.
Fundstrat co‑founder Tom Lee described a potential "crypto spring," suggesting Bitcoin is moving out of a bearish phase and may be setting the stage for a broader rally. Lee pointed to improving technical patterns, reduced volatility, and growing institutional interest as signs of a healthier market.
Separately, a vulnerability in the Coldcard hardware wallet, developed by Coinkite, was reported to have exposed recovery phrases for over 1,000 Bitcoin addresses, allowing hackers to empty the wallets. Despite the security breach, Bitcoin’s price rebounded, indicating resilience amid the incident.
