Bitdeer launches $36 M Nevada factory to produce Sealminer Bitcoin miners
Bitdeer Technologies is building a $36 million 187,000‑square‑foot electronics manufacturing plant in Sparks, Nevada. The facility will assemble its proprietary SEALMINER Bitcoin mining machines, targeting production of up to 10,000 units per month once commercial operations begin by the end of 2026. Approximately 70 engineering, technical and support jobs are expected to be created, and the plant aims to reduce reliance on overseas suppliers by providing domestic capacity for critical mining hardware.
The investment comes as Bitcoin mining margins remain tight, with hashprice near historic lows following the recent halving. Bitdeer hopes vertical integration of hardware production will improve efficiency and profitability for its mining fleet. In May the company mined 921 BTC and reported around $69 million of annualized recurring revenue from its AI cloud business, underscoring its broader strategy to combine mining and high‑performance computing services.
State incentives from Nevada officials supported the project, reflecting the company's commitment to expanding its U.S. footprint in both mining hardware and data‑center operations.
