Bitdeer US Bitcoin mining expansion

Bitdeer Technologies began building a $36 million, 187,000‑square‑foot manufacturing plant in Sparks, Nevada, to assemble its proprietary SEALMINER Bitcoin miners. The facility aims to produce up to 10,000 units per month by the end of 2026, creating around 70 technical jobs and reducing dependence on overseas hardware suppliers. The investment coincides with tight mining margins following the recent Bitcoin halving, and the company hopes vertical integration will improve profitability for its mining fleet.

In June 2026, Bitdeer reported a record 990 BTC mined, a 7.5% increase over May and five times the volume a year earlier. The higher output was driven by a rising hash rate of 73 EH/s, supported by the expanding Nevada operations. Despite the production surge, Bitcoin’s price stayed near $64,000, and Bitdeer continued to sell most of its mined coins, keeping its holdings at zero after selling more than 270 BTC. The data underscores Bitdeer’s growing mining capacity in the United States, though it does not affect the overall fixed supply of new Bitcoin.
