Bitdeer secures 67MW AI data center capacity in Malaysia

Bitdeer Technologies Group has entered a 10-year service agreement to secure 67 megawatts of capacity at the A901 data center campus in Malaysia. This marks the company’s third hub in the country, following existing operations in Cyberjaya and Johor.

The new facility is being designed to support high-density AI workloads, featuring liquid cooling capabilities to accommodate systems such as the Nvidia GB300 NVL72. Bitdeer expects to begin supplying capacity in the first quarter of 2027, with the full 67MW available by the second quarter of 2027.

With this agreement, Bitdeer’s total secured AI cloud capacity across Malaysia, Norway, and the United States has reached approximately 273.5 megawatts. This represents roughly 78 percent of the company’s stated goal to provide up to 350 megawatts of AI-ready data center capacity by the first quarter of 2028.
