Bitget Wallet launches crypto‑backed cashback card in Brazil
Bitget Wallet introduced the Assetback program, a new card that converts cashback from everyday purchases into a choice of crypto and tokenized assets. Users can earn up to 3% back in bitcoin, tokenized gold (XAUT), tokenized shares of NVIDIA, Tesla and Google, S&P 500‑linked ETFs via the xStocks platform, or the stablecoin USDC. The card operates on Visa and Mastercard networks and is available in more than 50 markets, with a Pix integration for Brazilian users that enables QR‑code payments and deposits.
The service targets freelancers and remote workers, aiming to simplify international earnings and cross‑border transactions. "The infrastructure now exists," said Alvin Kan, Bitget Wallet’s chief operating officer. Regional growth manager Federico García added that the card fills a gap for Brazilian users receiving foreign‑currency payments, offering both local Pix payments and global crypto transfers.
