Overview

In late July 2026 Bitget Wallet announced a partnership with the Mesh payments network, enabling users to link their self‑custodial wallet to Mesh for card transactions, and introduced Assetback, a cashback program that automatically converts purchase rebates into tokenized assets such as U.S. ETFs, gold (XAUT) or Bitcoin. A few days later the firm upgraded its Bitcoin‑backed BGBTC token, adding daily Bitcoin‑denominated rewards, faster redemptions, institutional‑grade risk controls and cross‑chain distribution via Chainlink’s CCIP, broadening its use across Bitget’s futures, lending, launchpool and PoolX services.

On 1 August 2026 Bitget Wallet launched the Assetback cashback card in Brazil, extending the program to a physical Visa/Mastercard product available in more than 50 markets. The card offers up to 3 % back in Bitcoin, tokenized gold, tokenized shares of NVIDIA, Tesla and Google, S&P 500‑linked ETFs through the xStocks platform, or USDC. A Pix integration lets Brazilian users make QR‑code payments and deposits, targeting freelancers and remote workers who need seamless cross‑border earnings. The rollout underscores Bitget’s rapid expansion of wallet‑based payments, tokenized‑asset rewards and multi‑chain crypto services.
