Bittu Tabahi leads cleanup of 3,020 kg of waste across Delhi-NCR

Surendra Singh Choudhry, widely known as ‘Bittu Tabahi’, has led a multi-day environmental cleanup campaign across the Delhi-NCR region, removing a total of 3,020 kg of waste from various locations.

The initiative began in Delhi on September 20, where the team removed 585 kg of waste, including plastic and floral garlands, from the banks of the Yamuna River. The campaign then moved to Gurugram on September 21, focusing on the Khedki Daula area. In Gurugram, the team collected 2,435 kg of refuse, specifically targeting plastic waste to prevent harm to local animals, such as cows, that often ingest it.

The three-day drive was scheduled to conclude in Noida at the Yuva Shakti Ghat in Sector 94. The campaign, organized under the hashtag #CleanWithBittu, aimed to promote public awareness regarding waste management and the importance of maintaining cleanliness in urban public spaces.
