BJP criticizes Kerala government's first 100 days

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has launched a political critique of the V. D. Satheesan government in Kerala following its first 100 days in office. BJP state president and MLA Rajeev Chandrasekhar accused the administration of failing to fulfill its election promises, noting that only one of the five promised guarantees has been implemented.

Chandrasekhar raised concerns regarding the state's economic management, alleging that the government has increased Kerala’s debt by Rs 12,500 crore while failing to generate significant employment or attract new investment. Additionally, the BJP leader criticized the government's approach to governance, claiming the administration has turned to communal politics to distract from its shortcomings and has failed to take meaningful action against corruption.
