Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav leads BJP rally in Datia by‑election

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh staged a large road‑show in Datia ahead of the assembly by‑election. The rally began at the western gate of the Pitambara temple, continued through local shrines and included a visit to the Vanakhandeshwar Mahadev temple. Accompanying senior BJP figures – former Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, MP Bharat Singh Kushwaha and party candidate Ashutosh Tiwari – Yadav appealed to voters to back the BJP and criticized the Congress, describing the contest as a fight between “cut‑claw” opponents.

The BJP emphasized its development agenda and claimed widespread support, with large crowds greeting the leaders. The by‑election, scheduled for 30 July 2026, pits the BJP against the Congress, and results are expected on 3 August. The campaign has intensified with only three days left for voting.
