BJP intensifies campaign efforts for Nagaon Lok Sabha by-election

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its youth wing, the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), have intensified organizational activities and outreach efforts ahead of the Nagaon Lok Sabha by-election in Assam.

BJYM units in the Nagaon and Morigaon districts plan to hold approximately 1,800 small-scale and courtyard meetings specifically designed to connect with young voters and promote the party's ideology. Additionally, the Mahila Morcha units are conducting home visits to highlight government welfare initiatives for women.

NDA candidate Devasish Sarma, accompanied by Assam Minister Pijush Hazarika, has been conducting extensive campaigns across various areas within the Jagiroad constituency. The party is also establishing election offices across multiple Gaon Panchayats and holding booth-level meetings in the Rupahi, Dhing, Samaguri, and Nagaon-Batadrava constituencies. During these activities, several Congress workers and local leaders have reportedly joined the BJP.
