BJP organizes service-oriented yatras in Jammu and Kashmir and Madhya Pradesh
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is conducting a series of service-oriented journeys across India as part of its Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.
In Jammu and Kashmir, the party plans to launch the Sewa Jyoti Yatra on October 7. The initiative will span all 20 administrative districts and is intended to promote themes of public service and nation-building. According to J&K BJP president Sat Sharma, the yatra also commemorates the 25th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi entering public office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001.
In Madhya Pradesh, the ‘Jal, Jan and Seva Sankalp Yatra’ recently concluded after traveling approximately 17,000 km across 53 districts. Organized by the party’s youth wing, the campaign included over 700 programs focused on social activities such as water conservation, cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, and plantation initiatives. The yatra aimed to connect young volunteers with grassroots communities, including farmers, students, and rural residents.
