Black holes may host new universes, physicist suggests

Physicist Nikodem Poplawski from the University of New Haven proposes a theory suggesting that black holes may not be the end of matter and light, but could instead facilitate the creation of new, enclosed universes. Under this hypothesis, our own universe might have originated within a black hole located in a higher-order reality.

Proponents of this theory point to cosmic asymmetries as potential evidence. Specifically, research into galaxy rotation suggests that the universe may not be perfectly symmetrical. Studies involving the James Webb Space Telescope and previous analyses of spiral galaxies have indicated that a significant number of galaxies appear to rotate in a preferred direction rather than being distributed equally between clockwise and counter-clockwise rotations.
