Black Ops 7 and Warzone receive weapon balancing update

Treyarch and Raven Software have released update 1.109 for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone. The patch focuses primarily on weapon balancing for multiplayer and technical fixes for the Zombies mode.

Assault rifle adjustments include a reduction in the rate of fire and maximum damage for the TR51 Para, while the DS20 Mirage received improvements to hip-fire spread and grenade launcher projectile velocity. The Peacekeeper Mk1 saw an increase in its headshot multiplier despite a slight damage reduction at medium range.

Submachine guns also underwent significant changes. The VMP saw a reduction in its maximum damage range, whereas the Gremlin received buffs to movement speed and reserve ammunition. Other SMGs, such as the REV-46 and Dravec 45, received adjustments to their range and headshot multipliers to improve gameplay consistency.
