Black Sea region experiences rain and high-altitude snowfall

The Black Sea region of Turkey is experiencing varied weather conditions, including rain and snowfall in high-altitude areas. In the eastern parts of the region, heavy rain is expected in cities such as Rize, Trabzon, Giresun, and Artvin. Temperatures in these areas are forecasted to range between 12°C and 26°C.

In the higher elevations of Rize, specifically in the Çamlıhemşin district, snowfall has occurred. The summit of the Kaçkar Mountains and the Yukarı Kavrun Plateau, located at an altitude of 2,300 meters, have been covered with a layer of snow. This weather shift has prompted local plateau dwellers to begin preparations to return to their villages.
