Romanian rescue teams free stranded tourists and aid injured hikers

Simultaneously, separate mountain rescues were carried out across Romania. A German tourist was rescued after becoming stranded on a ridge near Bâlea Lake, while a foreign visitor on the summit of Iezerul Caprei received assistance from Salvamont Argeș. In the Ceahlău Massif, a 15‑year‑old boy suffered a serious leg injury and was evacuated by two Neamț teams to a hospital. Jandarmi and mountain rescuers also repaired a hidden danger on a trail in the Rodna Mountains to prevent accidents. All operations reported successful outcomes and highlighted the readiness of Romania’s mountain‑rescue services.
