Blizzard addresses technical issues in Diablo IV

Blizzard Entertainment is addressing two distinct technical issues within Diablo IV following the release of Patch 3.2.2 and the launch of Season 15.

First, a glitch caused the unintended distribution of expensive cosmetic skins to certain players upon logging in. These items, which can normally cost around 25 euros, were granted to players who logged in immediately after the patch went live on September 30. Blizzard has since addressed the error, though players who did not log in during that specific window did not receive the items.

Separately, a powerful item interaction involving the Hellfire Torch has significantly altered the game's meta. The item allows players to combine bonuses from three unique charms and a full five-piece set, creating much stronger characters than originally intended. Despite community feedback, Diablo IV Design Director Dan Tanguay stated that Blizzard will not change this interaction during the current season to respect the time players have already invested in their character builds.
